Cyprus drops to 14th, Japan maintains no.1 spot
Cyprus passport ranked 14th on Henley Passport Index for Q3 2021
Cyprus has dropped 1 position on the Henley Passport Index from Q2, down to 14th position.
The Henley Passport Index is desribed as ‘the only one of its kind based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA). The index includes 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations. Updated quarterly, the Henley Passport Index is considered the standard reference tool for global citizens and sovereign states when assessing where a passport ranks on global mobility spectrum.’
Hungary rose 1 point to take 10th position by itself, pushing Cyprus back 1 position. Japan maintained first spot closely followed by Singapore, Germany and South Korea. The worst ranked passports are listed as Pakistan, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
